PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The BFC 64 PLUS-A is a heavy-duty Italian grinder-doser made by BFC, the same company behind our BFC espresso machines. It takes everything we like about the BFC 64A and builds it into a larger, heavier body with a built-in cooling fan, so it stays cool and consistent through long, busy shifts. With 64 mm flat burrs, a 350 W motor and a classic dosing lever, it's made for coffee bars that grind all day. It runs on a standard 110V outlet.
Details & Features
Grinding generates heat, and heat changes how coffee extracts. The 64 PLUS-A's cooling fan helps keep the burrs and grinding chamber at a steady temperature during constant use, so your grind and your shots stay consistent from open to close. Its heavier 19 kg body adds stability and keeps vibration down on the bar.
The 64 PLUS-A grinds into a doser chamber and portions the coffee with each pull of the lever. You can set the dose from 5 to 9.5 g, and it automatically tops up the doser as you work and switches off when it's full. Stepless micrometric adjustment lets you dial in your grind in tiny increments, and the 1.2 kg hopper holds plenty of beans for the rush.

Frequently Asked Questions
BFC 64 PLUS-A or BFC 64A?
Both are doser grinders with 64 mm flat burrs and the same 5–9.5 g dose adjustment. The 64 PLUS-A adds a cooling fan and a larger, heavier body for shops that grind constantly all day. For lighter or moderate volume, the BFC 64A is a great value.
What's the difference between a doser and an on-demand grinder?
A doser grinder grinds into a chamber and portions coffee with a lever, which is fast and simple in a busy bar. An on-demand grinder like the BFC 64E grinds fresh straight into the portafilter for each shot.
Why does a grinder need a cooling fan?
In a busy shop, burrs heat up from constant grinding, which can change your grind and your shots over the course of the day. The fan keeps temperatures steady so your espresso tastes the same at 4 pm as it did at 7 am.
