PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The BFC 64A is a classic Italian grinder-doser made by BFC, the same company behind our BFC espresso machines. Built around 64 mm flat burrs, a sturdy aluminum and steel body and a powerful 350 W motor, it's a reliable, no-fuss workhorse for busy coffee bars. Its doser chamber lets baristas portion each shot with a quick pull of the lever, the way Italian espresso bars have done it for decades. It runs on a standard 110V outlet.
Details & Features
The 64A grinds into a doser chamber and portions the coffee with each pull of the dosing lever. You can set the dose from 5 to 9.5 g, so every pull gives a consistent amount of coffee. The grinder keeps itself ready, automatically topping up the doser as you work and switching off when it's full, so you're never waiting on coffee during the rush.
Stepless micrometric adjustment lets you dial in your grind in tiny increments for a very even particle size, and the large 1.2 kg hopper holds enough beans for a busy morning.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between a doser and an on-demand grinder?
A doser grinder like the 64A grinds into a chamber and portions coffee with a lever, which is fast and simple in a busy bar. An on-demand grinder grinds fresh straight into the portafilter for each shot. If you'd rather grind on demand, look at the BFC 58E.
How do I keep the coffee fresh in the doser?
The 64A only grinds a few doses ahead and refills as you go, so in a steady café the coffee in the doser is used quickly. During slow periods, simply keep the doser lightly filled.
Can I use it at home?
Yes, it runs on a standard 110V outlet. It's a large commercial grinder, though, so most home baristas will prefer the more compact, on-demand BFC 58E.
Can I talk to someone before I buy?
