The BFC Classica GT is a handmade Italian commercial espresso machine, designed, built and assembled by BFC in Conegliano, Italy, in the Treviso coffee-machine country. Available in 2 group and 3 group versions, it keeps things simple and tough: a copper boiler, heavy temperature-compensated groups and easy 5-button keypads, in a sleek steel and black body. It's built for cafés, restaurants, bakeries, food trucks and offices that want reliable Italian espresso at the most approachable price in our BFC lineup. And when you buy from Espresso Grove, we cover all installation fees. Your space just needs the required plumbing and electrical in place first.

Details & Features

Inside the Classica GT, a copper boiler runs on a thermosiphon circuit, constantly circulating hot water through the groups so they stay at a stable brewing temperature through the rush. The traditional heavy brass groups are temperature-compensated, holding their heat for consistent extraction from the first shot to the last.

Each group has a programmable 5-button keypad, so baristas can set and repeat their doses with one touch, no screen to learn. Two stainless steel steam wands and a hot water outlet handle milk drinks and tea, a chrome dual-scale pressure gauge shows boiler and pump pressure at a glance, and automatic water-level control keeps the boiler topped up, with a manual fill tap as a backup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose the 2 group or 3 group?
The 2 group fits most cafés and restaurants with one or two baristas. The 3 group is built for busier shops where two or three baristas work at once during the rush.

How does the Classica GT compare to other BFC machines?
All BFC machines are handmade in Italy. The Classica GT is the simplest and most affordable, with easy button controls and no display. For a display and more style, look at the BFC Lira, BFC De Lux RS or BFC Galileo, and for touch-screen controls and pressure profiling, the BFC Aviator.

Do I have to pay for installation?
No. Espresso Grove covers all installation fees for the BFC Classica GT. Before installation, the required plumbing and electrical must already be in place: a dedicated electrical circuit, a water line and a drain at the machine's location. Any electrical or plumbing work needed to get your space ready is the buyer's responsibility. Contact us after your order and we'll arrange installation once your site is ready.

What power does the Classica GT need?
The Classica GT is available in 120V and 220V versions in the US. Either way, it needs a dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician before installation day, not a shared household outlet. Contact us before you order and we'll confirm the right voltage and electrical requirements for your space.

Does it need a water line?
Yes. Like most commercial espresso machines, the Classica GT connects to a water line and a drain, and both need to be in place before installation. Talk to us and we'll walk you through exactly what your space needs.

Can I talk to someone before I buy?
Absolutely. Email Support@EspressoGrove.com or call (980) 890-9050 to talk with a real person.
